Whirlpool said that with the new technology, it will make use of ozone for gently refreshing clothes while also removing odor plus close to 99.9% bacteria and allergens. This feature called Xpert Care will also features steam wash tech for sanitizing clothes. The proprietary tech from Whirlpool, 6th Sense SoftMove will make use of a combination having sensors and algorithms for intelligently sensing load and the adjust the speed. This will create a movement for clothes ensuring that there is minimal friction and best washing performance.

The Indian wing of Whirlpool has announced integrating the ‘Ozone AirRefresh’ tech with its Xpert Care line for front-loading machines. These will also feature basic wash cycles for daily clothes.
