Tata Group plans to only sell out Apple products exclusively from these stores. The conglomerate having businesses ranging from salt to even software, has confirmed such opening plans, as per reports from The Economic Times. Tata is engaging in talks currently, with high end malls and high street locales for understanding brands and store perspectives.

Neither Apple nor the Tata Group responded to any queries on the same. This latest development happens just two weeks post an Economic Times report of the Tata Group being in talks for purchasing the Wistron Corp manufacturing facility in the country. The buy out amount was a supposed $605 million. Tata and Wistron from Taiwan, that is one of the top Apple top vendors in India had been planning on a joint venture for assembling iPhones in India according to reports from Bloomberg.
