Now, Snap Inc. has introduced Snapchat for Web to allow users to access the app through their desktops. The latest web version will support messaging as well as voice and video calls.
Snapchat Web is for Snapchat Plus subscribers
Unfortunately, not everyone can run the desktop version of Snapchat. As of now, Snapchat web is only available for Snapchat+ subscribers. Also, only users from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom can use it. Snapchat Inc. announced Snapchat+, which is a premium subscription last month. The subscription costs $3.99 per month which gives access to a variety of exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features. The company has plans to release Snapchat for web to Snapchat+ subscribers in Germany, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and France as well. The latest web version will then be rolled out for all the users around the globe. There is no official statement from the company on when it will be done.
