Samsung has taken this step to only include a USB-C to USB-C cable in the retail box but without a charger to cater to sensitive market where customers look to save even on luxury smartphones. To be able to use Samsung Galaxy S21 without charger, one needs to own fast-charging adaptor. In case not, customers will have to shell out a little extra money from their pocket to buy the Samsung charger. The only good news here is that Samsung has reduced the price of its 25W charger from $35 to $19.99, but not for the Indian consumers. Currently, the Samsung charger is priced at Rs 1,999 and is only available via Samsung’s online store. Cost Cutting Practice
Although the prices of all Samsung’s flagship-level smartphones have been going up, the electronic giant has been slowly removing the accessories from its retail box. In 2020, from the budget M series to the most premium, all Samsung smartphones came without a back cover. Even though the price remained the same, the company, it seems like, is trying to follow Apple did with its iPhone 12 series, and has decided to go without charging brick and earphones in all its upcoming smartphones.
