Disable Cellular Data Use for Automatic Downloads in iOS 8
The steps in this guide were written using an iPhone 6 Plus, in iOS 8. These steps will also work for any other device using iOS 8. Step 1: Touch the Settings icon. Step 2: Scroll down and select the iTunes & App Store option. Step 3: Scroll down and touch the button to the right of Use Cellular Data to turn it off. You will know that the setting is turned off when there is not any green shading around the button. For example, cellular data for automatic downloads has been turned off in the image below.
