As reported by 9to5 Mac, there are references to ‘iMac 21,1’ and ‘iMac 21,2’ in the mac OS Big Sur 11.3 beta 5. However, the site is quick to point out that those numbers have no correlation with the speculated sizes of Apple new iMac. Code named J456 and J457, the 2021 Apple new iMac are supposed to wear 21.5-inch and 27-inch displays respectively.

The company also decided to discontinue the iMac Pro and has also done away with two more configurations of the 21.5-inch iMac.
